Dailuaine 2015 - Adelphi

For those in the know, this Speyside distillate can rival the heady heights of prized drams such as Mortlach and Benrinnes.

This incarnation surprises and delights with a heightened waxiness more often seen in a certain Sutherland distillery.

Drawn from a single first fill Oloroso hoggy, we find linseed oil, hot pumpernickel bread slathered with salty butter, Soreen malt loaf, and cola cubes. We go deeper into bourbon-soaked cherries, chicory coffee, Angostura bitters, and red grapefruit.
