Introducing the limited edition Talisker X Parley: a release aimed at raising awareness and fundraising for Talisker x Parley's mission to rewild more than 100 million square feet of ocean forest.

The bottle of this limited edition is made from 100% recycled glass, produced with biofuel. In recognition of the importance of protecting and restoring the health of the oceans, Talisker is donating €3 for every bottle to help Parley preserve the oceans. Because without a sea, no Talisker!

TASTE PROFILE

Appearance: A glorious, lustrous deep amber with reddish hues. The rich color of rosewood or a freshly opened white horse chestnut. ​

Fragrance: Mild and dry in feel, but generally rich. Firmly packed top notes of fruit and malt are reminiscent of malt bread with raisins, dates and dried figs. Below, a mineral touch of chalk leads to vibrant maritime notes of brine, salt crystals and high seas ship's wood, all on a slightly fruity winey base with a hint of pipe tobacco.

The addition of a little water brings out a smoky note. ​

Body: medium to full.

Taste: the creamy smooth mouthfeel introduces a grand taste that starts off richly sweet and then quickly turns into salty, smoky and fruity, with luscious, sweet hints of raisins and figs in the mid-palate, enveloped by increasing peppery spice and smokiness.

After the rich, intense flavor at natural strength, the sweetness and fruitiness increase slightly (then again reminiscent of ripe figs), and the spiciness when water is added.

Finish: long, warming and slightly drying, with a familiar late peppery taste and a very attractive smoky-fruity aftertaste.
